Carnatic
music has two main parts : Raga and Thalam. Raga is that the mode and Western Thalam
is that the pulsing cycles. There are a various ragas and talas and with their
combination you'll sing totally different and extraordinary songs. The main
ragas are Sankarabharanam, Mohanam, Hindolam, Kamas etc. The main talas are
Aadi, dhruva, jhampa, matya. With these ragas and talas along we are able to
produce wonders.
Sruti plays
an important role within the music. It's rather like the 'key' in western
music. Sruti is just like the soul of carnatic music. The primary style of
carnatic music is that the Saralivarisai. This can be associate in nursing
exercise that makes North American country acquainted with the swaras and also
